Cheney Mansion, reminiscent of a gracious English country home, was designed in 1913 by Charles E. This 12,000-square-foot mansion boasts many handsome reception rooms, six bedroom

s, seven bathrooms, and separate servants' quarters. The two acres of beautifully landscaped grounds also include a coach house, a restored greenhouse rental space, a veranda, and even a waterfall garden. These showcase gardens include a kitchen and cutting garden with an espalier fence, a woodland walk, and the great lawn for picnics.

The Mansion features elegant reception rooms, six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and dedicated help's quarters. Its 2.2 acres of meticulously landscaped grounds include a greenhouse, a kitchen garden, and a cutting garden surrounded by an espalier fence, along with a woodland path and a waterfall fountain.

There is also a spacious lawn perfect for picnics and private events. The grounds are accessible to the public until dusk every day unless reserved for a private function.

Yappy Hour is next Wednesday, May 29th from 6:30-9:00! Enjoy cocktails, hors d'oeuvers, music, and fun on the beautiful grounds of this historic mansion. Silent auction items like 4-pack of passes to Uncork Illinois Wine Festival, 2 guided Frank Lloyd Wright tour passes, one month yoga class pass to Ahimsa Yoga Studio, and more! Canine guests can enjoy a massage by Physio Pet Massage and a puptini and treat from the Wiggle Waggles/ 6 Mutts Chicago dog bar. Animal Care League will be providing a "doggy valet" service so guests can take advantage of free tours of the Mansion. $10.00 of each ticket sale will be donated back to ACL. Dogs are free.
