Our Customer Service Representatives, or as we call them, Fruit Experts, are individuals who are excited about creating and celebrating experiences with our Guests. Fruit Experts are involved in all aspects of the operations including sales, fruit preparation (includes designing and dipping chocolate), cleaning, and daily operations.
The ideal candidate is an upbeat, logical, quick thinker and enjoys the challenge of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. You are driven to do more and be more and look to conquer challenges in every task you take on. TEAM PLAYER, invites a culture based around team readiness.
Starting hourly rate is $12.50/hour plus commissions. We offer a 30-60-90 performance review program.Our locations are in Elmhurst and Oak Park. Willingness to work in both locations is a plus. The shifts are typically 8am-1pm and 1pm-6pm Monday through Friday, Saturday shifts are 8am-5pm, and Sunday shifts are 10am-3pm. We are looking for someone who can work during the week and some weekends.
Responsibilities:
• Identify customer needs and suggestively sell. You must meet specified monthly sales goals.
• Ensure all products meet company’s quality and brand standards
• Perform store opening and closing procedures accurately and efficiently
• Ensure all food preparation is complete and in accordance with all local, state and federal laws
• Design arrangements, dip fruit in chocolate and prepare fruit
• Take detailed notes on any order issues and communicate proactively with the manager
• Follow through with each task and take ownership of the quality and completion of the task
• Cash handling
• Fill out checklists daily
• Work as a team player. This means you show to all scheduled shifts promptly and ready to work
• Handle Guest Satisfaction issues with a “customer is right” attitude
• Willingness to work multiple locations to fulfill scheduling needs of the company
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Fluent in English. Spanish (a plus)
• Experience with POS systems and basic technical troubleshooting
• 1 Year Experience in a hospitality oriented company (hotels and/or restaurant)
• 1 Year Experience in suggestively selling products
• Proficient in PC computers, smartphones (Android and Apple), tablets, apps, etc
• Ability to type at 40 WPM
• You must have excellent spelling, grammar, and communication skills
• Food Handlers Certificate is a plus
• Desire to grow revenue and promote business
• Must be a logical and critical thinker who can problem solve in high-stress situations while remaining calm and level-headed
• Have a dependable working vehicle and/or transportation to work.
