Hey guys. Since SpecOps is down for the count and I'm stuck at home with major health issues, I am going to try something and would like your support.

I've been out of work for 15 months and my only income lately has been donating plasma, and I just lost that due to their CYA policies, not because I am too unhealthy to donate. So you guys can be a huge lifeline for me in the short term.

My two main interests are writing (I'm a screenwriter and novelist) and gaming. So I am gonna give streaming a go and stream between my naps. haha

Some days I'll stream video games, some days I'll be working on my stories and viewers can join me in the creative process, and some days it'll be just chatting so we can hang out no matter where you are. Hmm... maybe I should dedicate one stream per week just for long covid peeps, or anyone with issues that just needs someone to listen. That might be a good thing that can reach others.

How can you help? I'm glad you asked.

Find my channel at the link below, make an account, and follow me. Make sure you have notifications on so you'll know when I go live. Even if you don't care about watching streams, you can just turn it on and then ignore it, keep it muted. It'll get the follows and viewer count up.

The more viewers I get, the higher I'll show on search results when viewers are looking for people to watch. Once I get 75 viewers, I can add a subscription button to try to earn some money.

If you're willing to subscribe and/or just offer a one time donation, that would be fantastic, but even if all you do is help to get my numbers up so I can try to earn through actual viewership, that's great, too.

I'm also gonna set up a patreon page for people that want to help me and SpecOps but don't want to help on the streaming side. If I can get enough people to support me with as little as $5-$10 a month, it'll make sure I can eat and pay my medical bills without incurring even more debt.

If I get an overwhelming amount of support, then SpecOps will live again. I'll use the extra coin to hire someone to revive our special corner of the universe and we'll have one hell of a grand re-opening party with a full weekend event free to all of you.

You can also help by sharing this post along with a comment about me and/or our relationship for your friends. You all know that what we had was special and it reached a lot of people on a personal level. Even if I can't be there, I want that to continue. You all deserve it.

I'm setting things up this weekend and will be doing some test streaming off and on, so jump in and say hi. I'll work on setting a set schedule in the days to come.

SpecOps is closed... for now.

It sucks, but we gotta do it. Between Cypher's health crisis and us now living in TX, it's just too much for us to handle. We will be attempting to sell the business over the coming months with a hope of it reopening in the spring time.

Thank you all so much for 15 amazing years of great events. You gave the SpecOps family so much joy, good times, and even better friendships. We hope to see you all again.

The best party ever. It's what we do. Birthdays and family outings, graduations, bachelor/bachelorette parties, church groups, athletic teams, corporate outings, and intentional/effective team building. For 10 years we have focused on the people, the party, and the social experience.

Here at SpecOps Live Play, we believe you are more important than the equipment we use. Our focus is on you. Yeah, sure, our laser tag equipment is pretty awesome and the games are a ton of fun. But that's not enough. We want each and every one of you to feel like family.
