Thanksgiving week is upon us. Rosie is stocked with amazing Fall containers, so many different shapes, colors, sizes and vibes to choose from. Fresh product will start coming in tomorrow, as we start prepping for the holiday rush. Centerpieces and vase arrangements, fruit baskets, plants, we will be doing it all. Good morning Oakdale, Happy Halloween 🎃 I have some news for you all. It has taken me quite a few months to make a really hard decision. I have sold the business. As of tomorrow there will be a new owner of Oakdale Flowers. Her name is Rosie Onate 😊 I want you to know, that you will still be receiving EXCELLENT customer service, with BEAUTIFUL designs. That will not change. I believe in her completely, my lead designer is not leaving, and I will still be coming in a couple of days a week. I want to say a huge and heartfelt ThankYou! For all of the years of love and loyalty from you. My treasured customers. That have become life family and friends. This Flowershop, and YOU have meant the absolute world to me. I have always said, I have the best customers anyone could ever hope for. And it’s so very true ♥️ So, thank you, I love you, and hopefully I will still get to see you all from time to time 😊 You are all just the best! Cheers to Rosie! I know she’s got this! October 19th. The day my daughter married her love. It was a beautiful early Fall day, as we watched our baby girl walk down the isle. I’ve always said “teamwork makes the dream work”. My people, my crew, my team, worked hard for days on this wedding. They came through for me, like they always do. Jo, keith , Andrea Hind, Rosie Onate, Paula Burgess, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your hard work and dedication, and for your friendship. I love you all! And am forever grateful ❣️A huge thank you also goes out to my flower vendors and local growers. As always coming through for me when I need them the most.

What’s on my mind today. My cherished local growers. The people that work so tirelessly all year long, to grow the most beautiful product out there. Summer is slow season for flower shops. It can be very hard to make it through the long hot summer months. I’m not restocking like I normally do, because I can’t.
But today, my dearest Elizabeth Barton, from Barton’s Blooms, came in with an armful of the most beautiful flowers. As a gift. Did I cry? Yes I did 🥹 These are not just floral suppliers, they are dear dear friends. That will always be there to support you and be happy with you, and wish you the best. They are your LOCAL GROWERS♥️ Always try to keep your business local when you can 😊 it means so much to us! During the hardest of times we always cheer each other on. For these beautiful souls I am forever grateful ♥️
