Shick Shack BBQ will be making our inaugural visit to Ashland Summer Days. We will be opening up on Friday, June 21st at 6. And Saturday, June 22nd at 11.
We know we will have Brisket, Pulled Pork and the smoKy boat along with various sides both days. If you have not had the smoKy boat, it is smoked mac & cheese, topped with pulled pork, drizzled with our signature bbq sauce and topped with onion tanglers. Any time we offer the smoKy boat, it is our top seller.
Come out and find us! We should be close to the beer tent area.

A Liege waffle, any flavor of ice cream, two toppings, whipped cream & a cherry on top!

What is a Liege waffle? A sweet chewy, buttery, thick waffle made with brioche-like yeasted dough. Topped with pearl sugar to give them a sweet taste and caramelized crust!
YUM!!! They are SO good!!!

We will be open Friday-Sunday 1-8pm!!

I upgraded our deep fryer lids so that we don't have to drain them before traveling. These things are amazing. As soon as we are done with the fryers, we shut them done and put these lids on. We can then travel. We don't have to wait for the grease to cool. We don't have to carry hot grease buckets with us anymore. We don't spill any grease. With Fryer Jones

The event offers the only time to see the historic village at night. We drop the rope at 7pm tomorrow night for a magical evening.

We will have rides from the overflow parking to the village all through the event. Please follow all traffic signs throughout the site.

We are only one week away from the 2023 Candlelight Walk!

The Candlelight Walk offers the only time you get to see the historic village lit up at night! The event will be Friday, October 6th and Saturday, October 7th from 7pm-9pm.

A few quick notes about the event:

🕯️We have food trucks ready to serve you both evenings.
🕯️The historic village will be closed with no one allowed in from 5pm until 7pm.
🕯️While we make every effort to provide enough candlelight, you may want to bring a flashlight if needed. Please use it responsibly!

A cast iron stove has been added to the parlor. Come out to the Heritage Festival THIS WEEKEND September 9th and 10th 9am to 3pm both days rain or shine. Take a tour and see the parlor and learn about life in the 1800s. Here is the schedule of events.

We will be making our debut at Drinkin' With Lincoln 5K and Street Fest on Saturday. We are so excited to bring our style of bbq to this awesome festival. We will be featuring our brisket, pulled pork, smoKy boat, and our newly released Shick Shack Shoe. We have been working on the cheese sauce all winter, we now have it where we are excited to offer it to you. We had great comments on the cheese sauce last weekend. We will also have breaded and fried chicken patties and tenderloins along with various sides. Come out and enjoy the festival and welcome us to this amazing event in beautiful downtown Petersburg. Saturday, May 20. 10 am - 4 pm.
