We’re so excited to announce will now be hosting Baked Blooms Birthdays - Workshop + Celebration parties at the Boucakery in San Rafael on Sunday afternoons.

Parties are perfect for kids 10-14 years old. Each curated party package is based on 8-10 guests and comes with everything you need for a good time!

Now booking through April 2025 - first come first serve, limited dates.

Feeling fantastic this brisk Fall morning! 2024 had been a whirlwind and were so grateful for all of the clients that trusted us to curate special milestone celebrations for all kinds of festivities. We also love when they spend us love letters like this - make all the efforts worth it! Cheers to all of our 2024 newlyweds. And we’re looking forward to all the fun 2025 will be bringing us - and trust we’ll get more notes like this again soon.

While we believe it’s in the details, you don’t have to spend more than your budget allows to have festive decor. We helped our client pull together a few focal point elements for this Mountain Bike theme Bar Mitzvah at a community center. We came up with the idea to pop a bike up on a cabinet that was in the room and add some balloons. The bike was on a stand which we camouflaged with some burlap, rocks, potted ferns and mini trees. We also made a large photo board for the entry area, again working with what was in the space we dressed up a desk that couldn’t be moved out of the space and leaned the foam core board in front only a less the desirable piece of artwork that wouldn’t be removed. A little creativity goes a long way!

So set your budget and stick with it - small bits of fun decor can go a long way. Need a little help with sparking the ideas? We have a “Just the Ideas” package which included a site tour, Pinterest board, links to decor for purchase and vendor recommendations and you take it from there.

We’re over here reminiscing about a Harry Party Sweet Sixteen we did way back when! We rented the and pulled out all of the stops to bring Hogwarts to life! From the Sorting Hat for House Assignments, Moaning Myrtle in the bathroom, Chocolate Frogs, Butter Beer, to the Great Hall complete with floating candles, it was a night to remember. And of course our friends knocked the feast out of this world! If you’re looking to celebrate Wizard Style, we’re the event planners for you! 38north Design Co. made its debut in early 2020 as a sister brand to Stacey & Company with the idea that the website and social media would focus on events in MARIN. Well we all know how 2020 went and since we couldn’t go anywhere but Marin for over a year, we decide to retire Stacey & Co and jump all in on Marin focused celebrations. As 2020 stretches into 2021 we had to up our Party in a Box game and put these cute goodies together to ship and deliver to folks that supported our small business during these rough times - it’s hard to believe it was 3 years ago already! As we kick off 2024 with a bang we’re now jumping all in with more KID APPROVED Festivities + Playdates! With Gretchen joining the team and leading the design of the kid fun, were able to offer even better experiences - we've always styled our events to perfection, but having a kid specialist with years of education + experience on board, our hands-on activities are now developmentally appropriate and geared to stimulate young minds with sensory & imaginative play, to scientific exploration and art experiences. We're excited to launch 38north PLAYDATES with our first event Friday FEB 9 at Sleepy Hollow HA Community Clubhouse from 4-6pm. TICKETS AVAILABLE VIA LINK IN BIO - space is limited, so don't delay!

Back before 38north Design Co. there was Stacey & Company which I started in 2004. I would do little showers and parties and handle everything from concept to clean up in house - invites, food, flowers, cupcakes, favors, everything! While we now have amazing partners to help us with all the in betweens- we still like to keep our skills sharp. Yesterday we helped our long time florist and partner Susan of celebrate her 60th birthday! We whipped her up a festive invite and volunteered to do the grazing board. Lucky for me my child has a flair for boards and helped me put this beauty together. And of course we had to bring along some amazing - you can barely tell which are the flowers and which are the cupcakes!
