This little boar was created for me by the illustrious ! I needed a secret power/totem animal to accompany me to boring business meetings, seminars, business administration work days and most especially those one on one meetings with supervisors that fill your head with nonsense . So next time I find myself in these situations, I am bringing my Boarfriend with me. He will pop up in my stories like “where is Waldo or Flat Stanley or Carmen Sandiego. He will give me the strength to continue looking like an active listener, maintain eye contact, and nod my head periodically.

My entry for Ahh Fall colors and flavors and smells. This dish features squares of braised and caramelized pork belly crackling on top like the sound of dried galled leaves, drizzled with poached pear cider gastric paired with carrot, radish, cabbage and kohlrabi slaw and crowned with golden brown potato frittes. 🍁

Congratulations to Joe who was named Employee of the Month at the Panera in Mashpee!

Joe and his support team, including his supervisor at Panera and his mom Diane, have all been encouraging and putting in the effort to help Joe become a stronger dining room attendant.

Joe worked diligently for the past two months, enduring lots of constructive criticism and implementing new ideas and tools to help him improve on the job. It is with the greatest of pleasure for me to say that when we all work together to help and support each other, wonderful things happen!

Bagel Board ! I am pleased to announce that I found New York bagels in my town!! .yarmouth . I can’t stop thinking about all the talented chefs from Ukraine. I know I have many that I follow and who follow me and I wonder how they are doing. I can’t get my creative process to work for me right now knowing that so many Ukrainian chefs are in this horrible predicament. I try to imagine what if this happened here on our land? One day your mind is full of creative thoughts for your work and the next you are grabbing what you need to flee or hiding out and trying to learn how to use weapons . I am so shocked and afraid and worried and feeling so helpless right now - my creative thoughts are completely blocked. I found and there are many great posts of how other chefs have been helping . Please follow and if you are reading this and have other resources please add them to my comments. I want my Ukrainian chefs to resume their place on the culinary stage and get their lives back. ( of course I want this for everyone in the Ukraine) Peace to all- Chef Rose Johnson🙏🏼
