i will be returning to California on December 1 and am putting up classes and dinners on my calendar. Of course, private events and catering are going to be available, as well. These events take place in my loft in West Oakland and are open to the public. link in comments to purchase tickets.

I have spent most of September and October in Bangkok and a week in Ho Chi Minh City where i did a 7 day intensive cooking class learning about Vietnamese Vegan cooking.

come by Wyldflowr Arts this evening as RootStock Arts presents our Thursday night concert series. This evening, vocalist Ramya Shankar is performing with her ensemble for some Indian fusion music. I will have a peach oat crisp and peach ice cream with Sun Crest Peaches from Masumoto Family Farm and some butterfly pea flower tea for sale. Doors at 7, concert at 7:30.
Wyldflowr is in West Oakland on the corner of 37th street and West Street.

RootStock Arts presents a 3 day Raga Festival, tonight, tomorrow and Saturday evening at Wyldflowr Arts in West Oakland.
This evening, Akshay Naresh (bansuri) and Sameer Gupta (tabla). Tomorrow evening, the great saxophonist, Prasant Radhakrishnan with mrdingham player, Gopi Lakshimarayanan and on Saturday, vocalist Swati Jhaveri and tabla player Tushar Gupte.
I will have butterfly pea flower tea, peach cardamom-rosewater ice cream and peach cobbler this evening for sale.
Doors at 7. concert at 7:30.
Wyldflowr Arts is at 37th and West Streets.

Tonight at Wyldflowr Arts (37th and west streets in West Oakland), RootStock Arts presents our Thursday night concert series and this week features, Steve McQuarry performing solo on Buchla modular synthesizer and computer and one duet with a special guest chef. I am doing double duty, this evening, performing one piece at the end of the concert as well as my usual role of selling sweets and drinks and tonight i will have a Peach Semolina cake and peach pecan ice cream with Masumoto Family Farm Sun Crest peaches as well as butterfly pea flower tea. Doors at 7, concert at 7:30.
