BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: plz share w/ ur ppl ✊🏽🙏💖
me and the homie assan (good mother) recently took over events production at the loom here in oakland. it’s an amazing artist community that includes folks from all walks of life working together towards the common goal of creating an arts district for the city of oakland.
to celebrate this venture we put together this event… we want to make sure this space is something special and different and that each activation feels like a completely different place.
so this is what we got for our impromptu little opener… VIDEODROME is a dark and bass heavy psychedelic OAKLAND RAVE and “experiencial happening”, complete with full on HAUNTED INFLATABLE MAZE, drag performances, face melting DJ sets from the gawd (Juke, Bounce, Werk/NYC), , , and a secret special guest…plus we got some drag artists and custom built DJ Booth made from CRT TV’s that we built with the homie … and a massive (50x50 foot) inflatable haunted maze… & so f@cking much more taking place at The Loom, Friday Octrober 25th...
it’s amazing what u can put together when working with a group of artists who all have the same goal in mind… making oakland’s art community gets the attention and appreciation it deserves.
