The reason I collect lace. (Well, one reason 😉). I am always on the hunt for the unusual and hard to find lace because you never know what kind or color or size you will need for repairing vintage dresses. And of course- I just appreciate the sheer beauty of old lace.

Now available online! This beautiful Edwardian dress was a labor of love. Hanging in my closet I would occasionally bring her out and do some repairs. She only had a few issues (which actually is quite amazing given her age) but it was delicate work and I needed to take my time. So here she is. Ready and waiting for you!

My favorite bridal hairpieces are waxed orange blossoms. Especially this pearlized wax orange blossom comb. This became very popular in the late 20's and 30's and I think they still work with any style gown.

Does anyone have any insight into this bridal bouquet? Its clearly vintage (I've had it at least 20 years lol) but I haven't found a match so I can't say for sure. My colleagues think its waxed flowers from the 30's but they don't feel or look like the waxed orange blossoms typical of that era. These are tiny calla lilies (which actually is typical of that era come to think of it). I would love to hear your thoughts.

Wishing everyone a very happy new year! I wish to thank everyone who has followed me and supported me this last year. Selling strictly online has had its challenges but I'm grateful to those who have trusted me with their wedding gown choices. Through a lot of texts, questions and photos I'm happy that I have been able to assist a lot of brides with their online purchases. Moving into the new year I look forward to working with more of you.

It just occurred to me last night that we just have 4 more days of 2023! So at the spur of the moment I decided to start a sale! (It seems that I've been a bit slow to keep up with time lately. It seems to move faster with every year don't you think?) Anyway, I quickly went to my Etsy store and started with 20% then up to 25% off many of my vintage bridal gowns.
