Hi!!!👋 I’m Jen. I never really do these “hello it’s me”posts, but I figure it’s a good way to start the year. My business takes a lot of forms, but mostly I’m a succulent florist.

A lot has changed since this photo was taken about 4 years ago. I did more weddings and taught more workshops than I ever ever thought I’d do. I became a mom had a beautiful baby girl. I Lost people I love but also grew my floral community and achieved projects way out of my comfort zone. I’ve found new invaluable friendships and learned so much about myself. 2025 is looking like it will be verrrrry different for ww succulents than the past few years- but I’m feeling very positive about the possibilities.

I’ve totally distanced myself from social media but trying to get myself back in action. Ha.

A birthday order, created all from my garden, and dried flowers from past events. I don’t have much space, but I try and save as much as I can from going in the compost after an event. You never know when it might be the perfect thing for a special order

Here is another shot of those risers I was talking about! Yes, these are UNDER the cool wooden riser made by .hanna + .fabrication * I had to do a little arguing with gravity on this design and made double sided arrangements that sat under the wood and peaked out on each side. This wedding at OVY camp was sooo fun- another reminder how great it is to have completely different setups every event I flower. This table set up had awesome risers that I had to figure out how to flower underneath so that the tables had plenty of room for lots of food. Planner: .hanna

So excited to be teaching a crown class at the The Nurtured Seedling🌿🌸 we will be doing mostly flowers and some succulents mixed in, but it made me go and look through a bunch of crown I’ve made over the years. I’ll post more soon!

Ohhhhh I loved this bouquet soooo much. I think I need to break down and pay someone to organize all of my photos of my past weddings so they can actually see the light of day instead of sitting in iPhoto, Dropbox, Google photos, and all the other fandoms places they exist. Has anyone ever outsourced something like this or have suggestions? Yes another THING that takes up time and mental energy when you run your own business. … 😵‍💫🤯😜🤪

Little beautiful details are such an important part of a wedding day 🌿✨ Crafting these succulent wrist corsages taught me that sometimes the smallest things are the hardest to make, but with patience and care the tiny magical compositions make it all worth it. 💚 My goal is for the bride and groom to feel the same!

Are you kidding me? This is pure magic! This flower girl, adorned with a succulent headband, becomes a forest fairy while walking the bride and grooms pup downt the aisle. He also has a flower and succulent collar! So fun 🌸💫

A boutonniere that tells a beautiful story. This Groom attached important family members photos to his bout, and reminded me yet again, just how special each couple's love story is. A truly touching and unique addition to their special day. 📸💫 .

ok to be honest i just logged into my planoly for the first time in maybe a year? I found this photo of a bouquet I made that I don't even know when or who it was for....heh heh. I love it though. Its so interesting looking back at past work and sometimes I think, "I made that?, cool!" Does this happen to anyone else?

This photo just popped up in my photo memories. It is very special to me bc not only was it the day I delivered my biggest floral event at the time, with 40 centerpieces for - But that was also the night I found out I was pregnant 🩷 Here I am- glowing 🤣😇 with only a mild suspicion and hope that something magical was growing. May this photo remind me of what I’m capable of, what hope and passion can achieve, that there’s always more thats coming my way, and even more room to grow…every single day. 🌿

This month is going to be my busiest to date!! Finally learning to ask for help and it’s magical. . I got a fun visit from a teeny tiny baby praying mantis while working on all of these succulent arrangements. He made my day. . Hoping to post more soon! Let me know if you see my post by liking and commenting!! Hopefully I haven’t disappeared completely from the algorithm by never posting. lol.

Come along with me while I make a dried installation piece for my favorite restaurant @pucquio . Getting good angles for the Timelapse was tricky, but so glad I documented it. I always wish I could really move that fast 🤣 . Stay tuned for some more photos of the finished piece.

One of my all time favorite bouquets!! And hair combs!! With the most gorgeous braid( watch till the end) Missing those warm summer days today.

Here is 1/2 of my final project of the year: 45 driftwood arrangements shipped out for a lovely small business’s client gifts. Can’t wait for some R&R and organizing and cleaning sessions. Ahhhhh. Ho Ho Ho!!!

A little recap of Saturday’s class! I couldn’t have done it at a more appropriate venue than @ruthbancroftgarden . If you have been recently, or haven’t been at all, it’s suuuuch a lovely time in the garden. Last weeks drop at the @signiasanjose for an event put together by @ethos_eventcollective_ca Thanks for having me! Can’t wait to see how it all turned out. .
