Brulae Owners Jordan and Kae founded Brulae in 2018 starting off as vendors at farmers markets, and festivals and events. She ordered it that night, and was HOOKED!

Today, their focus is still on delivering the greatest creme brulee out there. Brulae’s Creator, Katrina (Kae) Carreon, dreamed of owning a bakery. In 2008, she lived in Upstate New York, and would watch TV shows showcasing speciality flavored desserts. Upstate New York didn’t have specialty bakeries, so all she could do was experiment on her own. In 2010, her beloved Filipino grandfather passed a

way. After the night of his service, she and her family grabbed a late night bite at a small French cafe. She saw creme brulee on the menu, and was always been intrigued by the dessert, but she had never tried it. The very next night she noticed a flavored creme brulee at another restaurant, and this assured her love for the dessert, and set off an idea in her head. She ordered creme brulee whenever got the opportunity. Epcot’s Sunshine Terrace Buffet and France Pavillion are memorable favorites of hers. She spent years perfecting her very own creme brulee recipe, and that is what has become our number 1 selling “Original” creme brulee. Looking back and connecting the dots, Katrina says that her grandfather’s passing is what led her to discover her love for the dessert, and motivated her into starting a creme brulee business of her own.

Igniting Your Taste Buds!

There's a new creme in town, & it involves fire, not ice! Brulae is a creme brûlée centered cafe & confectionery boutique 10 years in the making. Our founder, Kae, found herself in an area where there were no creme brûlée’s readily available so she learned to make them. After perfecting a basic creme brûlée, experiments were conducted and different flavors were born. Her lineup for Brulae was finally ready for the masses at 626 Night Market in July 2018.

We want to spark the beginning of making creme brûlée’s into its own niche, and ignite the taste buds of other creme brûlée lovers to make this underrated dessert into the next foodie craze!
