Studio Grand Oakland is a nonprofit multi-use storefront that supports local families, youth, emerging and established artists by hosting a mix of music, performance, educational, visual art classes and events. Young Women's Freedom Center (YWFC) & Studio Grand or an opening of YWFC's Oakland home and the "She Free/We Free" photography exhibit by on how YWFC defines and builds family and siblinghood. Talented and powerful artist DJ AGANA will be painting a mural for us, we will have good music and food!

For years YWFC has provided programming and partnered with community groups in Oakland, many of us come from and live in Oakland, now we are building a home for YWFC. On June 26th, YWFC will celebrate the opening of its doors and launch of our full program in Oakland.

This Sunday, come by for Bay Area Bridges..

Curated by RDL+, Bay Area Bridges celebrates the Bay Area music scene, with Oakland as its launch pad. This month, RDL+ features a collaboration with singer-songwriter Josh Boronkay.

Joshua Boronkay has been making music in the Bay Area for the last decade. He finds his roots in the American songwriting tradition taking from blues, jazz, folk and hip hop. His newest record, “JB Barton and Co.”, is due for release this summer.

DOORS AT 6:30PM, SHOW AT 7PM
