A few nights ago I joined hands with partners, families, and supporters to power a fundraiser honoring California State Controller, .cohen. Because if progress has a backbone, it’s oversight. If investment has soul, it’s accountability.

At a moment when California is navigating real budget pressures, Controller Cohen stands guard as the state’s chief fiscal watchdog — protecting schools, public safety, infrastructure and local governments from waste, fraud and misuse.

Her leadership reinforces a truth we believe with our whole business: care without detail is chaos. Advocacy without stewardship is leakage. And impact without accountability doesn’t last.

Supporting Malia isn’t just supporting a seat — it’s supporting the foundation under every investment we fight for, every service our families rely on, and every progressive win we celebrate.
