Yesterday we celebrated happy memories of my father-in-law and a good long life he lived after cancer took him away from us. I called him dad because he was the only dad I had. He was color blind but loved the beauty and joy in life. It was no brainer for me that we needed some cute colorful happy blooms that our families and friends could enjoy when we gathered together to honor his life.

Yesterday we celebrated happy memories of my father-in-law and a good long life he lived after cancer took him away from us. I called him dad because he was the only dad I had. It was no brainer for me that we needed some cute colorful happy blooms that our families and friends could enjoy when we gathered together to honor his life.

That’s the way to celebrate your birthday! Have your best friends gather and do some flower arranging together and with me 😉. A bonus of the background sound of nature if it’s at your (or my) backyard. I can also have you indoor at my brand new floral studio. Just reach out if you want to have a flower arranging party!!! Last three years of Art In Bloom DC with Fleurelity. Each year, I choose a different piece of art from the Anderson House in DC which I draw my inspiration from to create a flower display for public to view. This annual event should be on your calendar for every spring if you are a flower design enthusiast. it gets better every year!

Last touches on my floral piece before Art in Bloom in DC begins. Such an honor to flower for this annual event the third time in a row. So many talented floral designers from the area are displaying their art and craft and the beautiful interior and the garden of the Anderson House in DC could not be a better place to show off the beauty of flowers and the art these amazing florists can pull off. Thank you @atelierashleyflowers and @margobrightoccasions for organizing this wonderful flower show and @eventsatandersonhouse for hosting. And thank you my dear @larushka89 for capturing me on video. Love you to pieces.
