Sunday we did a Mehlville School luncheon for faculty today. This was organized by my brother who is a STLPD SRO at Mehlville Highschool and Officer Mike who is the SRO at Bernard. Pulled Pork and a lot of it cooked hybrid competition style to put a wow factor on the meat. Had a great time helping out! Also thanks to my father Ken Jacobsmeyer for helping.

Wanted to thank Chris Bohnemeier for helping me out with some supplies for a steak competition that unfortunately I had to cancel due to getting bronchitis a few days before the event. I was still able to practice and follow some tips he gave me. It was a very nice gesture.

Had a great weekend in Ironton, MO for the Arcadia Valley BBQ Battle. Great town, great organizers, and great people! Wesley McVey and I shared the workload on the proteins and cook. Shout out to my brother in law Barry Baxter on helping and getting things done. Congrats to Mulkey's BBQ & catering LLC & Two Krackers Kookin’ on GC & RGC.

We finished 7th overall out of 34 teams
Chicken: 2nd
Ribs: 25th
Pork: 14th (Tough category)
Brisket: 3rd
