Merry Christmas! We are so happy to see how many of you are excited to join us on our newest adventure - St. John Lutheran Church’s Nights of Lights.

Below are some FUN FACTS about the show….

Nights of Lights is a walk thru (not a drive thru) of our Church and School Campus at 1915 SE Lake Weir Avenue, Ocala. Please do not go to the Florida Horse Park nor call them for information.

December 13-23 and 26-29, 6pm-9pm.
Closed December 24 and 25.

There is plenty to see and enjoy. You can expect a more spread out version of Santa Land with many new displays, a synchronized light show, many of the previous activities.

It’s a FREE event but we will have donation stations and will greatly appreciate your financial support by cash or card.

Yes dogs, cats, and exotics are welcome on leases, but please leave the easily excitable or irritable ones at home. They don’t enjoy it! 🐶🐮🦖🐈😹

Santa is allergic, so he will not take photos with any animals. No exceptions.

We have two brand new playgrounds and a train ride for the kids to enjoy. There will be no bounce houses nor inflatable slides.

Food trucks will include: St. John’s Hot Cocoa Truck, Brian’s Bites, and Country Boyz BBQ. We do not have any other vendor spots available.

Our parking lot holds around 180 cars. It is self-park. If you can’t find a space to park, please come back later or another night. We expect that the average visit will be 30-45 minutes so parking spaces should open up fairly quickly.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not park in the neighbors yards behind the school.
Do not block the road or their driveways.

We have plenty of handicap accessible spots up front by the Church doors.

We will have bathrooms available.

Hi everyone! I am reading all of your comments….please know that we share in your disappointment, but we are excited for our newest project - NIGHTS OF LIGHTS!

With that being said, we have taken everything that we owned in Santa Land plus a LOT of new stuff and we are now setting up St. John’s Nights of Lights. This event will be held on campus at St. John Lutheran Church and School, 1915 SE Lake Weir Drive, Ocala - December 13-23, 6pm-9pm.

Nights of Lights is a walk through of lights and displays, some of which is synchronized to music, plus Santa and Mrs. Claus, food trucks, hot cocoa, train rides for kids, play ground area, photo ops, crafts and other activities.

This event is FREE and open to the public. (Donations are greatly appreciated)

December 13-23, 6pm - 9pm….We hope to see you there!

THANK YOU OCALA! Sadly, due to various circumstances beyond our control, the Ocala Christmas Light Spectacular has officially retired.

THANK YOU to Jason Reynolds and the Florida Horse Park and staff for graciously hosting and tirelessly supporting our mission and ministry of the Ocala Christmas Light Spectacular for 3 amazing Christmas seasons! There are no words to express our gratitude. Without you, there would never have been a light show. Thank you for sharing our passion.

THANK YOU to our sponsors, donors, volunteers, food trucks, Elsa, and Santa and Mrs. Claus! YOU put the vision into action and brought the Christmas magic to life!

THANK YOU to Premier Inflatables LLC, Holiday Outdoor Decor, Florida Express Environmental, Tree Wise Men, for bringing our vision to a reality! YOU brought out the light of Christmas! And yes even the potties were a beautiful sight😊

And THANK YOU to our guests…more than 10,000 cars every year! Thank you for coming from almost every state, in your pajamas, with your kids and parents and friends, with your dogs and cats and lizards, in cars and trucks and hay rides, on horses and hogs, eating everything in sight, bouncing, singing and praying, laughing with us or at us, sharing your stories and testimonies and a few tears, acting like kids and reliving your childhood memories and traditions, meeting in year 1 and getting engaged in year 2 and getting hitched in year 3, showing us grace when we needed it, but mostly for celebrating CHRISTMAS with us!

We cherish the memories and the ministry moments that we have shared with ALL of you!
