One of the most common questions I get is: "What are the best months to get married outside with the least chance of rain?"

Wedding Bookings & Cancellations: Respect Your Vendors & Venue ✨

Planning a wedding is an exciting journey, and when you book your date, your venue and vendors celebrate right alongside you! From florists to photographers, caterers to coordinators—every vendor begins preparing for your special day the moment you sign the contract.

But what happens when a wedding is canceled? Unlike other industries, weddings are booked months, sometimes even a year in advance. When a date is reserved, vendors often turn away other potential clients. A last-minute cancellation leaves a financial gap that can’t always be filled.

We know that cancellations can be heartbreaking, and we are not trying to be heartless or the bad guys. We also don’t want confrontations—yet, unfortunately, we are often the ones who take the brunt of the frustration after a cancellation. The truth is, non-refundable payments and policies exist because businesses rely on booking and fulfilling events, just as you rely on us to make your day special.

Before booking, please remember:
💍 A signed contract is a commitment—it secures your date and services.
💰 Non-refundable payments exist for a reason—they cover the time, work, and financial loss from cancellations.
📅 Rebookings aren’t always possible—most weddings, especially those with receptions, are booked 9-12 months out.

If you need to reschedule, communicate with your vendors. Many of us want to help and may offer options to transfer your payments to a new date within a reasonable timeframe.
