As always, these events are a co-creation among all of the sweet souls who bring their presence, their wisdom, and beauty. New friends and old friends alike, we leave uplifted by our connection.

Silent Disco: Music, Movement, and Meditation on the beach gathers again on Sunday evening in Ocean Springs!

The guided event is from from 5-7 with bonfire and food to follow. Free form movement meditation with live DJ makes a fabulous self-care mini-retreat, a relaxing girls night, or a sweet date with your love.

Opening cacao ceremony will be led by Tiffany Gayatri Devi Kidder, movement meditation will be led by la’ra’le, and elemental soundscape for your dancing pleasure by DJ Ananda Bliss Amanda Mavar Schmidt!

We will be donating all proceeds to local mutual aid recovery efforts coordinated by Truth Is One in Western North Carolina.

New Study shows Dancing is best
exercise to combat Depression!

Data shows that dancing may treat depression
symptoms better than SSRIs.

“They buried the lede on this new study,” he wrote. “It’s not that exercise beats out SSRIs for depression treatment, but that *just* dancing has the largest effect of *any treatment* for depression. That’s kind of beautiful.”

…science is catching up with what we already know in the Gulf Coast Ecstatic Dance community. One of many reasons why our events are so uplifting!

Parents! Our first event designed for kids is sure to be a fun family gathering. We’re so excited to be partnering with Wholesome Wellness and Breath!

Join us for the first Wholesome Wellness and Breath Youth workshop and collaborative family event! As a mama of two with limited support, these are the types of community experiences that I have longed for. I have had these workshops up my sleeve for several months now and I’m so excited to begin this chapter!

This event will be hosted by Gulf Coast Ecstatic Dance who plans to facilitate the freeform movement portion. The movement portion will then be followed by emotional and interpersonal intelligence activities and mindful breathing exercises with Wholesome Wellness and Breath. All ages are welcome.
