One of our 2025 brides, Lauren, wanted a flower crown for herself and a special donkey for her engagement photos and it may be our favorite photo ever 💕 This is Dawn and she is at in Montague, NJ
Here’s a little about this beauty: Dawn’s journey is a beautiful story of resilience, trust, and healing. When she first arrived at the sanctuary, her eyes carried the weight of unknown memories, and her heart needed time to mend. She came to us from a sanctuary that desperately needed help. She felt deeply displaced, her spirit dulled by the uncertainty of her past. Unlike the animals who come from hardship and are immediately uplifted by the sanctuary’s care, Dawn’s adjustment was slower, like someone who had known love but lost it. She needed time to believe that this new chapter was permanent, that the affection and warmth surrounding her were hers to keep. We knew that with enough love, patience, and reassurance, she’d find her way back to joy. Day by day, Dawn’s personality began to bloom. Her curiosity grew stronger, and she started to explore her surroundings with a sparkle in her eye, as if rediscovering the world with wonder. Every open door is an invitation for adventure, and she takes full advantage, wandering through the sanctuary as if it were her personal kingdom.
