Allow me to (re) introduce myself. My name is
Not HOV. Or Jane. Or Jasper. Contrary to what the business name may portray, my name is actually Elena. And I figured it’s time to say “hey girl hey”, (If you know this reference, we might be long lost best friends.) I’ve noticed a ton of new followers on here and we are approaching a milestone following!
Some fun facts about me.
•I’m a huge history buff (hence the selfie taken in my FAVORITE place in the whole world).
•My husband is my people. Love is cool
•My dogs are also my people.
•I’m a Capricorn. For better or for worse.
•I’ve met some of the greatest people I know through this business. Community over competition is my mantra! If you want to be friends, slide into the DMs.
I started Jane & Jasper because I love love. There is something so inexplicably special about assisting couples plan a wedding day that reflects their love. All love is so unique and I truly believe your wedding day should be a reflection of that!
The most common question we get asked in consultation calls is “so what do you do?” And while there is a VERY long and VERY thorough response to this, the short answer is, everything. On weddings days, I have sewn brides and bridesmaids back into their dresses, groomsmen back into their pants (ripped from groin to knee), cleaned dirty pants and bandaged bloody wounds. All while making sure that your day is running exactly how it should be and you are enjoying every single second of the best day of your life!
I never take for granted the importance of what we do as wedding planners/ day of coordinators. It is humbling to be trusted with the of the most important day of your life. Your wedding planner is someone you should trust, confide in, but also someone you could see as your best friend. Because, we do become best friends.
