The world has watched in horror as the nation of Israel was brutally attacked on Saturday, October 7th, by Palestinian militant group Hamas. Many have been killed, many more currently injured, and over 100 have been kidnapped. As a church, we commit to pray for the people of Israel, and while there is much we don’t know, we DO know the end of the story because we have the Word of God. We know that God wins and Israel will survive! Pray this prayer with us:

Father God, we come to You in the Name of Jesus, and we’re asking for a miracle for Israel. We know you love everyone– the Palestinians, the Arabs, the Persians, the Russians– you don't just love Israel, but we know that Israel is special to you by covenant, and that is why they're so hated around the world. We pray for the hostages who have been taken to be supernaturally released unharmed. We break the spirit of grief over Israel. We lift up Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israel Defense Forces. Give them wisdom to lead and to know how to respond. You are our very present help in trouble, and we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Be with the Jewish people all around the world and comfort them. We pray that you would use this as an opportunity for many Jews to receive Jesus as their Messiah. Turn this for Your good. In the Name of Jesus, amen.
