I'd like to introduce you all to our new shop kitty 😺

This is Sheba!!

We've had a hole in our hearts since losing Sweet William, so it was time to get an emotional support animal for the loss of our emotional support animal 🥰 We've had her since July. She's a pretty, sassy, sweet, chatty, spicey, spunky, chubby old girl!! She's a great fit and seemed at home right away..however I do think she's here to teach us just what a wonderful boy Sweet William was 😉😍🤩

There are some people that come into your life and you just click. Linda Hoffman is mine!!! She has been a loyal, supportive customer of ours the entire 24 years I've worked here. She is a valued member of the community and has worked so hard her whole life. Her and Butch built so much together. I was so lucky enough to have known her and so grateful for our friendship we built. I'll miss her sass and sarcasm and our delivery outings. She was so much fun!!!

In Japan, chrysanthemum meaning came to embrace the idea of perfection, as well as being viewed as a symbol of the sun. The Japanese also developed the idea of a chrysanthemum meaning rejuvenation and longevity.

Throughout Asia today, chrysanthemum meaning embraces the idea of long life and rebirth.

Across Europe, particularly in France, Belgium, Austria, Italy, and other countries, chrysanthemums are typically considered a symbol of morning and sympathy.

In Britain, however, is more closely aligned with the symbolism recognized in the United States: cheerfulness and joy, optimism, and longevity.

The chrysanthemum also has a powerful meaning in Greek superstition. There, the flower is seen as a protector against evil spirits.

In Victorian times, chrysanthemums were used to convey well-wishes, good fortune, and to express feelings of friendship.

Lastly, there is a superstition that you may be familiar with: the fortune-telling power of Chrysanthemum leucanthemum, also known as the daisy. The game of pulling petals off the flower head one by one whilst chanting 'He loves me, he loves me not…' has its origins in old soothsaying rituals that made use of the flower.
