We’re sad to share that our wonderful friend Melinda Curtis will not be able to join us at this year’s Utah Readers Luncheon due to a recent injury. We wish her a smooth recovery! 💜

We are thrilled to announce that New York Times bestselling author RaeAnne Thayne will be stepping in as our Welcome Speaker for the 2025 Utah Readers Luncheon on Saturday, October 11th at the Comfort Suites Ogden Conference Center. 🎉

Hello from the Utah Readers Luncheon Team!

We are absolutely thrilled that you’ve decided to join us at the 2024 Utah Readers Luncheon, happening on Saturday, October 12th at the Comfort Suites and Conference Center in Ogden, Utah. The countdown has begun—only 58 days to go, and we can’t wait to see everyone!

Make It a Fun-Filled Weekend!

Why not kick off the weekend with some pre-event activities on Friday night, October 11th? We’ve planned a fantastic lineup of fun and creative sessions designed to help you get to know other attendees, mingle with some of our amazing authors, and have an unforgettable time!

Here’s what we’ve got in store:

♥ BUNCO
Time: 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Location: Cactus Room
Cost: $20 per person
Description: Join us for the classic, easy-to-learn game that has been entertaining people for over a century! Enjoy finger foods, beverages, and awesome prizes. Limited to 12 participants.

♥ PALETTE KNIFE PAINTING
Time: 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Location: Sahara Room
Cost: $20 per person (all supplies included)
Description: Paint beautiful Birch Trees on an 11x14 canvas using brush, sponge, and palette knife techniques. Choose your own color palette. Limited to 20 participants.

♥ SWEATER PUMPKIN MAKING
Time: 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Location: Cactus Room
Cost: $20 per person (all supplies included)
Description: Create unique and festive sweater pumpkins—perfect for the season! Includes one large and one medium pumpkin with various color and style options. Limited to 12 participants.

♥ GNOME MAKING
Time: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Location: Cactus Room
Cost: $20 per person (all supplies included)
Description: Craft darling gnomes for the holiday season. Make 2-4 gnomes, depending on size. Limited to 20 participants.

♥ BOOK TALK & BOOK TREES WITH MELINDA CURTIS
Time: 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Location: Boardroom
Cost: FREE (all supplies included)
Description: Join Melinda Curtis for a cozy book talk and a fun book tree craft. Relax and chat with fellow book lovers. Limited to 10 participants.

Our registration reminder for 2024 just went out in our newsletter, but it was brought to our attention that it contained small headers with some INCORRECT information. No seats have been sold as of yet for 2024. Registration opens Monday, May 6th at 6 pm Mountain Time and the registration link provided was for last year's event. We apologize for any inconvenience (or anxiety) this may have caused.
