In a world of shortcuts and quick fixes, rodeo reminds us that some things can't be rushed:

That honesty is something we need more of everywhere else these days!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️FAN CAM⭐️⭐️⭐️

One thing is for sure, we love our OPD fans. ❤️ Every year we watch the stadium fill up with good folks from all walks of life. We love the diversity in our stands and throughout the communities we serve.

This year we were able to catch up with Tom and Valarie, who were tagging along with their granddaughters Kynlee and Kaycee. They were out enjoying quality time together, while watching some of the best rodeo around.

👏👏👏 Hats off to these good folks and all rest of our wonderful fans!!

Less than 7 weeks until the brightest lights in rodeo! 🤩 The 2025 Wrangler NFR runs December 4-13 in Las Vegas, and the race for those final qualifying spots has been intense. Who's your pick to make their first trip to Vegas? 🎰

🤠 When, it comes to good-peeps, they don’t get much better than Bev and Mike Clark!!

Long time committee member, Bev oversees the Whoopie Girls and runs our Special Kids Rodeo. Saying that she is indispensable is a whopping understatement. She is tough as nails but quick to smile and has a heart of gold.

And wherever you see Bev… Mike is usually nearby, running logistics. If something needs doing, Mike is there quietly getting it done. Because if you know Mike, he isn’t one for the spotlight (notice that he isn’t looking at the camera 😆).

These two represent the best of what rodeo is, and does. They are hard-working, honest, good to the bone and define the term “true grit.” To know them, is to love them. And we certainly do love them. ❤️❤️❤️

Comebacks in rodeo look a lot different than in any other sport. Let's talk about what it really takes:

❌ MYTH: "Once you're injured, your career is basically over"
✅ FACT: Stetson Wright missed the entire 2024 season with a hamstring injury from the 2023 NFR, but came back in 2025 to lead the all-around standings and is currently #1 in the world!

❌ MYTH: "Mental blocks are just in your head - tough it out"
✅ FACT: Top athletes work with sports psychologists, and take mental health as seriously as physical conditioning.

❌ MYTH: "Veterans should step aside for young competitors"
✅ FACT: Experience matters. Tyler Waguespack came back from a mid-season injury to make NFR, proving that wisdom beats youth when it counts.

❌ MYTH: "Comebacks are just feel-good stories"
✅ FACT: The most dangerous competitors are the ones with something to prove. They've got nothing to lose and everything to gain!

Every cowboy and cowgirl gets thrown. The arena doesn't care about your feelings. What separates champions from the rest is getting back on and riding smarter, not just harder.

Rodeo Fans – don’t miss ba****ck rider extraordinaire Rocker Steiner’s “Hell On Wheels” episode airing tonight featuring none other than Ogden Pioneer Days!! You can check it out at the Cowboy Channel and the Cowboy Channel YouTube!! Be sure to tune in 5:30pm MDT; 7:30pm EDT.

Some of you may have noticed that, Rocker Steiner, made a stop at OPD this year as part of his Hell On Wheels tour. Not only did he compete well that night, but his tour bus was also parked at the stadium—loud and proud for all to see.

🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷 Rodeo fans, one our distinct privileges is to honor the military each year as part of our Patriot Night celebration. And for us, it’s even more meaningful, given our proximity to Hill Air Force Base.

Did you know that many of our volunteers are active military, stationed at HAFB? ❤️❤️❤️ And several members of our committee work on base. In fact, among our team is retired military general, Pat Condon.

This year, we were lucky enough to catch up with these four amazing young ladies stationed at HAFB. We appreciated them and all other military personnel who leave their home to help protect the freedoms we all enjoy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

🤠 Hat’s off to our military and a big thumbs up to these dedicated young ladies!!
