Imagine Music Founded by Columbia Records artist David Owen, Imagine Music is Ogden's most exciting music lessons studio offering fun custom tailored music lessons!

Learning to play guitar should be fun! No matter what age, life is getting busier and fuller every day, so David's teaching approach focuses on enjoying the music first. David is available and able to teach music theory and musical notation all day long, however through years of experience the most tried and true way of sharing the gift of guitar is through simplicity and a joyous heart. ust want to learn their favorite songs" David is famous for saying. "I enjoy the moment during each new student's first lesson, when they realize 'wow, this is actually going to be a ton of fun, the lessons revolve around songs I am interested in learning and not some boring book that the teacher picked out'..." The heartbeat of David's teaching philosophy, which has made David so successful is: simply focus on what motivates each individual student and run with it.

We love Sophia!!

Growing up in a family and attending church with a strong musical influence, I grew up surrounded by music and fell in love with it. At the age of 12, I started as a backup singer on the worship team at church. That is where I learned to sing harmonies and play guitar and the keyboard. After a few short years, I decided to pursue recording original songs. I had the opportunity to record and put out 14 songs (12 originally written songs) with a team in Nashville, Tennessee, at 16 years old. Now, in college, I am pursuing a degree in musical education to make a career in sharing my love for music with others.

**Teacher Spotlight**

Nick D’Aleo is a musician originally from Plymouth, New Hampshire who specializes in drumming and music composition. He has been playing for over 15 years, with extensive knowledge in jazz and rock drumming styles. He has published some of his compositions and was commissioned with creating the music for the podcast “The Wild Around Us”.
After building and graduating from his own degree program in college, Nick began offering private drum lessons for the next 3 years in the towns he lived in, before moving to Utah and joining Imagine Music. Whether you’re just starting out or have been playing for a few years, Nick will help you realize your drumming goals.
