Meet the Head Chef of Harvest & Plate, Chef Alyssa LaFrance!

Chef Alyssa LaFrance grew up and started her culinary adventures in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. From a very young age she began cooking traditional comfort and wild game foods all from scratch, with her Grandmother. Hosting large dinner parties for all of their friends, near and far! Her passion for food, family, and togetherness motivated her to enroll at New England Culinary Institute. Graduating with a degree in Culinary Arts and a Certificate in Baking & Pastry, Chef Alyssa furthered her education by working in the top restaurants in the NEK. From making authentic Austrian cuisine to wood fired pizza and hand-made pasta, she gained all the experience available. Her pursuit for knowledge and experience brought her to Maine's seacoast where she now lives with her husband and four dogs. With her passion for food and connection, Chef Alyssa is dedicated to making any event big or small one to remember!

Chef Alyssa has also appeared on a popular Food Network show, Supermarket Stakeout!
