Valentine’s Day has got us thinking about - you guessed it - love 🥰

But not the kind of love you might expect...

As we ponder a day dedicated to celebrating love, a subject we are well-versed in as a wedding venue, we find ourselves yearning for something more.

More than just romantic gestures. More than the materialistic, commercialized aspects that put immense pressure on couples to impress their significant others.

The love that keeps coming to mind is:

Agape love.

Agape love is “pure, willful, sacrificial, love that intentionally desires another’s highest good.”

Martin Luther King Jr. beautifully describes it as, “something of the understanding, creative, redemptive goodwill for all men. It is a love that seeks nothing in return. It is overflowing love; it’s what theologians would call the love of God working in the lives of men. And when you rise to love on this level, you begin to love men, not because they are likable, but because God loves them.”

On this day, we wish you to encounter this profound love.

Through your loved ones AND through a Heavenly Father who has exemplified the ultimate form of this love through his son, Jesus.

His love is the love we’re celebrating today💞✝️

5 years ago!! How?! 🪩

& were our 3rd wedding back in 2019 and truly impacted us as a new wedding venue.

We were bright eyed and still figuring so much out - they showed so much grace to us!

We’ll never forget the disco balls. It was iconic🙌🏼

More than the disco balls, we will forever remember their kindness, humility, and authenticity. They emulated Jesus throughout the whole process, encouraging our own faith in such a new season!

We are so grateful our paths crossed with them 5 whole years ago.
