✨Meet Alexander Rodriguez, our host for “An Evening on the Lanai,” a “Golden Girls” benefit tomorrow afternoon (August 18th) at the Ojai Art Center! Alexander’s sense of humor shines through in his cabaret shows, daily life, and his nationally syndicated radio show “On The Rocks with Alexander: Where Celebrities & Cocktails Mix” on iHeartRadio, Pandora, and Spotify. He chats with big-name guests from classic to current Hollywood, reality TV, pop culture and music, meshing celebs from all walks of life to draw together a truly diverse listener base regardless of age, orientation or gender. Alexander is also the lead writer for Metrosource (National) Magazine and GED Magazine, as well as a contributor for Instinct Magazine where you can find his movie reviews, movie news, celeb interviews and over-all take on Hollywood…of course in his signature style. Meet Stan Zimmerman! This “Golden Girls” writer will be talking at the Ojai Art Center with host Alexander Rodriguez, and is a man of many mediums (TV, film and theatre). He’s been nominated for two WGA Awards for Best Comedy Writing – “The Golden Girls” and “Roseanne.” Stan’s also written and produced on “Gilmore Girls,” co-created the Lifetime sitcom, “Rita Rocks,” wrote on both Brady Bunch movies and rewrote the ABC-TV movie of “Annie.” Stan has directed multiple stage productions and earned many awards, having written some shows himself. Stan’s book, “The Girls: From Golden to Gilmore” was released this past February by Indigo River Publishing, and a limited number of autographed books will be available at the Meet and Greet after the Benefit for $20.00 cash or Venmo.
