Today was our 3rd year catering for the First National Bank of America Summer Employee Appreciation Picnic. They really create a wonderful event for the families that work there. This year Saddleback Catering combined both our BBQ & wood fired SLICE Pizza oven to cater the event. It was a great day and we are so thankful to be included each year. We already can’t wait for next year. (We love the face painting, petting zoo, kettle corn. Sugar shack cookies…and the people!

The first evening of the MSU Federal Credit Union Backyard Bash Concert Series 🎶 yesterday! The rain held out and folks came out for a night filled with great music on the lawn. SADDLEBACK CATERING is thrilled to be invited to each night of the concert series serving up our SLICE BY SADDLEBACK wood fired oven pizza over the next month. We are making the pizza 🍕 fresh and hot for you with our mobile pizza oven. We hope to see ya at the next one. 🎶

OPEN HOUSE SEASON IS ON!
We enjoyed a gorgeous day at Hidden Creek Farms catering a 200-person Open House on Sunday with our wood fired mobile pizza oven. The Chicken & Waffle Pizza stole the show. Great food. Great friends. Great weather. The perfect combo!

This was the first of about 35+ Open Houses we will be catering in the next month or so. Congratulations to all the Graduates!

We have delivered over 200 Boxed Lunches in one order for the second week in a row. Today we delivered to a construction crew and it looks like Michael and Jess were required to wear Hard Hats on the site when delivering LOL. We go the extra mile!

🍕Serving up some SLICE BY SADDLEBACK wood fired oven pizza at The Capital today for the Michigan Licensed Beverage Association! What a great day and we were able to cook the pizzas up outside for hundreds of guests before the rain hit! WIN. WIN! Thanks so much for choosing SLICE BY SADDLEBACK! 🍕

Holy wah, we had a great time catering a Yooper Inspired Party at Grewal Hall on Friday night.

Of course, we had Brisket and Chicken Pasties with Gravy on the menu, as well as a Brisket Carving Station, BBQ Wings and Sausage. We also served Corncake, the creamiest Mac & Cheese, Garlic Sweet Corn, and Potato Salad plus a whole host of appetizers.

About last night... we had a great time catering for the MSU Hockey Teams Ticket Holders Event at Munn Arena! Sparty gave us a hand making our pizza and breadsticks!

We are looking forward to the MSUFCU Membership Mixer on Monday. We will serve tastes of (2) of our favorite menu items.

Brisket
Certified Angus Beef Brisket smoked on our all-wood smokers for 12-16 hours with locally sourced hardwoods, to create an aged smokey flavor and a brisket taste like no other.

Mac & Cheese
We start with a roux, then add heavy cream and milk to create our base, then we add a blend of Mexican cheeses including Monterey and Cheddar, and a Velveeta style cheese, along with a little salt and pepper to create creamy mac sauce with Gemelli style pasta.

If you want a Fresh, Tasty, Satisfying appetizer for your next event, you should try our housemade Chicken Salad Roulades. We have both Regular & Curry-Flavored.

It all starts with our mouth-wateringly delicious housemade Chicken Salad, we then add thinly sliced Gouda Cheese, fresh-cut Tomatoes, & crispy Romaine Lettuce.

The Curry Roulades are wrapped in a Tomato Tortilla and the Regular Flavored Roulades are wrapped in a Spinach Tortilla.

🌻HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!🌻

I hope this makes you smile. Taking group pictures is hard. You may think I nailed it 💪 by the 3rd photo, but I truly think "the magic" happened in the 4th photo. LOL.

For this event, we took (16) of our catering professionals. It was a huge event with both our mouth-watering BBQ and our delicious wood-fired Pizza 🍕oven on site.

🍕 π HAPPY PI DAY π🍕
Our friends at Keller Williams Realty Lansing held a cool PI DAY event at Slice By Saddleback yesterday. They invited around 100 of their customers in to pick up a pizza pie of their choice! There were some giveaways too.

Behind the scene. Setting up for our first catered event at Grewal Hall at 224 yesterday for a large fundraiser. What a beautiful venue! We are looking forward to our next catering there in April.
