Hello, Plant Shoppe Friends!

It's been a while since my last shop update (was it really March?!) so I wanted to take a moment to check in. While in-person shopping was paused earlier this year, Plant Shoppe has continued to serve its community through plants, florals and events. Thanks to you all, the shop has stayed busy with online orders, deliveries, installations, weddings and event florals. I've also been honored to host some incredible people in the shop, celebrating life's special moments in such an intimate setting.

The year- with all its changes- has been challenging, to say the least, and your ongoing support while I find intentionality and purpose has truly meant the world to me! While I plan to send a more detailed update soon about what to expect from Plant Shoppe in 2025 (+ our 12th year!), I thought I'd send some quick notes of things happening before year-end (see my list below).

Thank you for being a part of this small business journey with me, for your kindness, and for your understanding as I move forward on this new chapter of the Plant Shoppe!

We are always down to get dirty around here 😆 I’ve got some weekday/night availability to host DIY groups this Fall. Small groups (8-16) can be accommodated during the day and larger groups (16+) in the night time hours. Great for team building, birthdays, bachelorette parties and group date nights. Reach out for more info!

Hey, OKC!! We are hosting our final Dirty Date Night for the summer on Friday, August 23rd. Will we see you there?!

🌵 Get dirty! Plant Shoppe will feature DIY Potting Stations where you can pot up a new plant or make an arrangement / terrarium (with guidance available if you want it, of course). Purchase a planter or vessel from us or bring your own from home! There will be no fees, just pay for the plants and materials you use. The shop will be open for normal retail sales as well.

🌮 Eat some dinner! Stitch Cafe will be offering a breakfast themed menu and a handful of cocktails that indeed pair well with the evening. These items are available to purchase THIS NIGHT only and you don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to try them!

Doors will be open from 6pm to 9pm. It’s free to stop in and see what we are up to.

While we are calling it “Date Night”, all are welcome to come join in on the vibes 🙂

This event will coincide with Fourth Friday events. Be sure to follow them on social media for more happenings in our district.

Another Dirty Date Night is happening THIS FRIDAY! As a refresher, we are collaborating with Stitch Cafe and are excited to welcome everyone into our space for a fun filled night featuring plants, food and cocktails :)

- DIY potting stations will be set up throughout the shop for our guests to pot their own plant or make an arrangement to take home. Bring your own container or purchase one from us and we will help you fill it up. The Plant Shoppe will also be open for normal retail sales as well.

- Stitch (https://www.stitchokc.com/) will have a ONE-NIGHT-ONLY menu of killer tacos, a torta, snacks and mini tarts. Not to mention a fun cocktail menu!

The event is completely free to attend, just pay for what you wish to indulge in. And while we are calling it "date night", ALL ARE WELCOME!

Will we see you Friday?!

Lots of things happening in this Friday as well. Take a stroll through our district and you'll experience art, live music, interactive activities, shopping and stuff for the kids to do. Eat and sip on your stroll when you pass by one of our neighborhood bars or cafes. Oklahoma City's West Village District (https://westvillageokc.com/fourth-fridays/) has so much to offer!

Friends!!! Are you ready for our next Dirty Date Night?! Happening THIS FRIDAY, July 26th, our second one of the summer boasts some new stuff- plant options, food options + cocktail options. So even if you came last month, we’d love to see you again as we are changing things up just a bit!

In addition to succulents this time, there will be mini leafy tropicals added to the shelves for those that are looking to design a closed terrarium (you ask, we deliver). Purchase a planter or vessel from us or bring your own from home! Plus, the shop will be open for normal retail sales as well.

🌮 Eat some dinner! Stitch Cafe will be offering (yet again) exciting tacos, a mouth watering torta and a few other surprises that are sure to be delicious. Oh and don’t forget the cocktails- there will be a handful of options that indeed pair well with the evening.
