The saying is true...everything really is cuter when it's small. Just like our Mini Norfolk Pine trees, decorated by our vendors and florists. 💚

Happy Thanksgiving! Jacqueline and her son are able to spend Thanksgiving in their own apartment – thanks to the support of people like you who buy our products and donate to our program.

For nearly a year and a half, Jacqueline experienced homelessness in OKC. Her son lived with family while she worked to get back on her feet, which motivated her to keep going. The Curbside vendor secured housing earlier this year and reunited with her 16-year-old son.

“Getting the keys to this place was an unbelievable feeling. It just didn’t seem real.”

Jacqueline’s new apartment makes her feel like herself again. Simple things like washing her face, doing her hair, and even being able to take some time for herself in a private space are much easier now.

Jacqueline said she shows her love through cooking, so having a kitchen and being able to buy her own groceries has been life changing. “I like to nourish and give people love that way. Now, I can have my family over and feed them.”

There’s still time to make meaningful work for people transitioning out of homelessness in OKC. Every purchase creates employment and income for real people struggling with homelessness and poverty in our community.

Our vendors have been hard at work this week making wreaths and mini trees. Here are a few photos from our wreath workshop. 💚

Order online at CurbsideFlowers.org to guarantee a wreath for your home or office. In addition to wreaths, we have miniature Christmas trees and Thanksgiving centerpieces available for pre-order.

Noble fir, incense Cedar, pinecones, berries and cinnamon sticks intertwine to make this whimsical half wreath. This small wreath is a wonderful way to brighten up any home, hallway or office. We have medium and large wreath options available too, if you’re wanting something larger.

Wrap Up Homelessness returns for its 10th year of helping give gifts with purpose. 🎁 All proceeds from wrapping paper sales support the Curbside Chronicle and our mission to employ and empower people transitioning out of homelessness in OKC.

Each package of wrapping paper features five different holiday designs from Oklahoma artists. This year we’re featuring original art from: Abbie Sears + Corey George + Natalie Lash + Ricki Scheef + Shankari Paradee + Dean Kelly + Jaiye Farrell + Jordan LaGrange + Juan Marante + Zach Raw. ❤️

We just wanted to take a moment to thank you, OKC, for all of the support you've shown Curbside throughout this holiday season. It's unmeasurably meaningful to see how our wreaths, mini trees and wrapping paper have become a household tradition year after year for so many. Because of your support this year, our vendors made 2,021 wreaths and mini trees. This created 1,539 hours of employment for 47 people transitioning out of homelessness in our community.
