What a day: Got a flat tire, got it fixed. Drove an hour and the fix did not last… But I made it to the first show a little late just in time for fun! Had the flat tire fixed again just in time for the second show…and more fun!

I kept my dad updated on my situation today, and he said I was tired and then I retired. 🤦🏻 😁

I’m not a big fan of workout selfie pics, but thought I’d share one of my recent wins with you. 6 months ago, this 2X shirt was the most comfortable shirt to wear, because it was the only shirt that wasn’t tight!

After a visit with my doctor I found out I was Pre Diabetic. As a Cherokee, I have access to several services at the OKCIC, including the Wellness Center, a trainer, and the Star Program. I’m now working out 5 days a week and down 13 pounds, and no longer Pre Diabetic.

My intention here is not to brag, but hopefully encourage you wherever you are at. For the first time in my life, at 45, I’m exercising consistently and daily. I’m lifting weights and stronger than I have ever been, at 45! I have more energy to do the things, all the things. (Did I mention I’m 45?)

So it’s not too late to start. Little wins everyday make a difference. I’m still not where I want to be, but I don’t wear this shirt as much anymore…because it’s too big.
