✨ “Every bit of you has a home in this heart of mine.” ✨
Jessica + Robert truly had the dreamiest session. The sun wrapped us in the softest golden light, the breeze was gentle, and everything just felt… right. It was one of those days where the magic shows up effortlessly, and I’m so grateful I got to capture it.
And on a more personal note, there’s something I’ve been wanting to share something that feels really important to talk about 🫶🏼
When you’re choosing a photographer, whether it’s for portraits or your wedding day, it’s so essential to find someone you genuinely connect with. Someone you feel comfortable around, someone whose energy feels good to you. I could shout from the rooftops 🗣️ how much this matters! There are so many incredible photographers out there, each with their own style, rhythm, and personality.
And here’s the honest truth: not everyone will vibe with me, and I won’t vibe with everyone!!! and that is completely okay. There is a perfect person out there for every personality, every comfort level, every vision. Some people are quiet and reserved, while others are vibrant and outgoing. Some are Type A, and others like me are happily Type C 😂
At the end of the day, choose someone who makes you feel seen, someone who brings out the best in you, or someone whose presence beautifully complements your own. That connection is where the real magic begins. 💛
And to my dear photographer friends who might be feeling a little heavy hearted please remember this: if a client or even a stranger doesn’t connect with you in a meaningful way, it does not reflect your worth, your talent, your heart, or the quality of the work you pour yourself into.
Your art is an extension of you, and not every person is meant to receive it in the same way and that’s okay. The most fulfilling work happens when you’re creating alongside people who make you feel seen, comfortable, and confident.
You deserve that harmony. You deserve clients and connections that honor your energy just as much as you honor theirs. Keep showing up with intention, and the right people will always find you. ♥️♥️
