Hope you are having your own kind of wonderful holiday celebration and just a reminder that not everyone is celebrating the same way. There are some who’s traditions change this year or some who feel left out or forgotten. Some who feel overrun and stressed, some who are separated from their loved ones and some people who’s current realities on Christmas Eve and day are far less glamorous than their friends here on the internet. So when you can, be inviting, be inclusive, be kind, be grateful, make new memories, make new traditions, forgive small hurts and extend Grace whenever possible. Let people know you’re thinking about them and when you love them.

A sweet friend asked me to send her all our Christmas traditions and I was so so so touched she had noticed our intention and tradition and inquired to incorporate in her family. 🥰

While I still owe her that text, one of our silly traditions is putting up the downstairs tree to the Grinch pretty early in the season. (The turkey still tastes good with the tree up, amiright?!) We make each other act/do the impressions of the most quotable parts. (See also: it’s always this day that I curse myself for not buying a pre-lit tree when I’m trying to ballpark math the light wrapping.) 😆

This corner of my living room gives me so much joy. (Maybe it’s the disco ball?!)
