Merry Christmas from 🎄 🎅 Did our usual prime rib but also tried a beef Wellington this year. Flavor was great but a bit over cooked and will try it again. Hope you all had a Merri Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🐮 🔥 🤤

So much to be thankful for this year. Beautiful Thanksgiving day. Fired up the fueled by to cook up a brisket and a turkey. Had a massive spread and over ate. Happy Thanksgiving!🦃🍁🍽

Cooked up some pulled pork for the softball team in between games. Always a hit. Someone brought some slaw and felt it was picture worthy! 🐷 🥎 💙 ❤️

Fired up the and smoked a sausage fatty using some award winning rubs. The combo turned out amazing. Also tried smoking some fresh Colorado 🍑 for the first time. Needed more sugar and maybe some ice cream but were really good.

Life gets in the way and FRF has not been in any competitions this year due to a crazy softball schedule along with the hundred other things going on.  Our hope was to have more time this fall to compete and get back to hanging out with our .  Well again life is getting in the way.  Betsy was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, so we don’t know what the future holds for us getting back out on the trail.  There are many unknowns and hurdles to overcome but the cancer was caught early, and very treatable.  We hope to hit a couple of our favorites still this fall, like Gardner and/or Edgerton but that is TBD.  Good luck to everyone competing and hope to see you soon, cooking meat in a parking lot.

In Branson for a softball tournament, so had to hit up . Had the black out sandwich, it was amazing and so filling. 🤤 Our server was great. Our team thanks you for a great meal. 🥎

Pork chop week for . First was boneless pork chops seasoned with cimarron docs sweet rib rub & Bar-B-Que seasoning. Other home grown, self slaughtered seasoned with sweet and a touch of spicy. Cooked on over . Love this weather where we are able to fire up the grills. 🔥 🐽

Fired up the on Saturday and cooked up some pork belly burnt ends seasoned with smoke show. Also used some frozen bananas to make some smoked banana bread. Both turned out amazing. 💨 🔥 🤤

My bi-weekly training in Shawnee allowed me to try out I had the comeback sandwich tossed with the kickin’ it up sauce topped with coleslaw and cluck sauce. Super tender & super flavorful chicken with a good kick. Again recommend checking them out. 🐓 🔥 Thanks for the recommendation.

Was in the Shawnee area for lunch so tried . Had the burnt end sandwich, it was on 🔥 Disappointed I had work after,otherwise would of taken advantage of their nice selection of 🥃. Check them out if you haven’t.
