What a fantastic week it was! Two days of serving over 200 people at The Hopkins school, three weddings( Rocky Neck State Park, Madison Beach Club and The Lace Factory) and finished on Sunday with a gorgeous English tea to celebrate Jane and her upcoming wedding! 🎉🍾🥂

We were honored to be among the 26 chefs competing for the title of BEST CHILI! As much as we would love the bragging rights if we win, we really hope to get that donation for the The Estuary!

It's that time of year again and we hope you'll join us! We have so enjoyed this fantastic day working alongside other businesses in our community. There was an incredible turnout last year and we hope that this year will be the same!

The 26th Annual Old Saybrook Chili fest takes place along Main Street, Old Saybrook. Twenty five chefs will compete for the title of “Best Chili,” as determined by you, the voting public. This weekend we served brunch in The Riverview Room at and the expectant mama, Joyce; was showered with love as she awaits the birth of her sweet little boy! Funny story- this was supposed to be a Bridal shower and then the pandemic happened! So, fast forward and now a special delivery is on the way! :)

Congratulations, Joyce! And, thank you to Clara ( Grandmother- to -be) for choosing Cloud Nine Catering and the Lace Factory!

As guests entered the Riverview Room, our team greeted each with a Mimosa from the Mimosa bar!~ This addition to the package always adds the most beautiful pop color to the bar!

The English Tea menu included Skewered fruit with Raspberry yogurt dip, freshly baked mini scones, Tea sandwiches of Roast Beef and Boursin on brown bread, Smoked salmon on pumpernickel, and Turkey on cranberry walnut bread. Our quiche Lorraine and Veggie quiche is always a popular add-on- the Butternut Bisque was the perfect addition on this chilly January day!

And, of course, the day wouldn't be complete without a sweet dessert for our sweet mama-to-be and her guests! A mouthwatering Chocolate cream pie, Blueberry lattice pie, and our famous Lemon Squares didn't last long!

Thank you, Clara and family! It was an honor to help celebrate this exciting time!

This was such a sweet little ceremonial cutting cake. Yes, even your wedding cake can reflect your personality! And, good news...did you know you will get a 6" anniversary cake topper to take home after your wedding? To save or eat right away. 🤣🤤

And these drawers are full of bite-sized cupcakes.... makes us happy! 🤷‍♀️
