Hey folks, no Friday studio hours this week because the Lobby is being used for this important fundraiser! Get yourself some tickets or buy some raffle items!

A few days away!

The Genesis House Gala, a major fundraiser for the homeless shelter in Olean, will once again be a IN PERSON event this February.

February 7, 2025 from 6-9 p.m.

Featuring a cocktail (cash bar) and appetizer reception catered by Century Manor

Ticket price is $60 per person

Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance online!

A highlight of the event will be the honoring of our winner of the Marion B. Scott Award. The prestigious award is presented to volunteers who go above and beyond in their dedication to Genesis House. The winner is Karen Butler of Olean for her years of dedicated service to the community of the Genesis House and more!

The annual event is important for the Genesis House because it helps raise much of the funding needed to continue the everyday operations. Grants they receive help support the residents who come to the shelter, but the gala’s funds help with utilities, office supplies, bills and payroll for staff. This is an opportunity for the community to help support Genesis House and keep this family shelter open. It is the only family shelter in the area. The churches and people of the community have traditionally supported this program and officials say they can’t begin to thank them enough, but also need to continue support for the future and keep the program going.

The Vault Art Advent Calendar is open!

The artists of the First National Bank Studios have broken into the bank vault and turned it into an Art Advent Calendar!

For $35, you get to open that day's safety deposit box! Each box contains artwork from Theresa Heinz, Sean Huntington, Fileve Tlaloc Palmer, Eva Potter or Tara Walker.
We're open Tuesday 10-4, Friday 3-7 and Saturday 10-4

On Tuesday you get to open Tues, Wed, or Thursday's boxes, Friday is just that Friday, and Saturday is Saturday, Sunday, or Monday (or any unsold box up to that point) I know it sounds complex, but we'll be there to guide you and share in the excitement!

It's a fun way to do some holiday shopping and experience the history of this beautiful building!
