🔥 Did you know across Legion & Washington St from the Olympia Ballroom the original State of Washington Capitol Building stands?

📸 This fire photograph was likely taken from the Ballroom building (originally the “Hotel Olympian”) on September 8, 1928 as the clock tower burned down.

🎵 1928 Top 10 Music “Black & Tan Fantasy” by Duke Ellington

Today the building serves as the offices of Superintendent of Public Instruction (State Agency).
