If you know how generous SC was with given you food beyond the payment, this will be a rambler to seek first in 2025! Sharon and I want the next family owner to blessed with a little extra food left on table. You will catch that in a minute!

We not replacing carpet before hand. New owner can used that to reduce price by market reasonable cost, or we place before closing allowing new owner to select the color of new carpet based on market and bud sellers will obtain. What a deal!

Me again Jeff - homeowner

Roof on shed had a leak and has been replaced. I floor in shed 10x10 replace.

Seeking estimate to replace three bathroom sinks and kitchen sink.

Look for contractor who completes the work first then payment. Must be licensed, bonded, insurance, license with WA State, and have a good history on file with WA State contractor database.

Potential other projects: replace carpet or install wood floors.

For all these projects, we looking a contractor who will perform the projects and not subcontract out.

I’m enjoying not havimg to go to trailer!

SC is still cooking for self right now.

Waiting on customers to realize how they plan on Monday which restaurant they are going to go eat out on Friday and Saturday to it’s the same as ordering SC’s 21st century to place their orders five days in advance but enjoy at home or sit in the mall food court and eat by their own choice??😉😂

Hi Customers!

The only thing left is just for SC to review and sign the lease to open another restaurant in 2025. Yes, we will still leave WA. I am not saying where the place is at this time. The price and time period have been verbally agreed upon.

My thinking due diligence to ensure this is the wise and best thing to do again?

Lacey restaurant: supported but not strong no matter the location.

Food trailer outside the gate in three different places Lacey, Tumwater, and Olympia: supported but not strong at either locations

Trailer on JBLM: supported and ok but the favoritism of vendors and across the board fairness and integrity was serious lacking.

Catering outside: only one customer since October why would SC risk opening a restaurant again based on the first two above and catering support? Words and actions are different and there are are many things that could be the reasons why, but if something is good those reasons shouldn’t hinder if the craving is there?

The location is great with great potential to overcome the not so good for the location with the right support.

The other issue that is saying don’t signed is the employee issue. We not looking for employees, but seeking team members with like minded passion and wanting to take over and run the place after leaving opening the door for someone looking to get into the business.

Maybe the time has come, was great, but now the time has gone for SC here. As an owner you must know when to fold or hold.

SC has been receiving calls everyday since closing trailer from new customers wanting to try the food but not interested in a catering pan or even ordering sampler pan this will work for one person.

Man Customers!

I went to MD which I hardly ever go eat at Ronald the Clown. The employee on drive up window was very friendly did I say very friendly!

After I arrived to window, I said, “you really love your job, and how how long you been here?” He said, “five months and I always try to be positive!”

After filling up the truck, I said, “Im going to text Sharon, Kim, Deb, and FB on the this early morning wonderful experience I just had.”

Do get mad but hear me out. I believe and know what God has done for me in death situations and family members when doctors said, “there is nothing else we can do and in seven days we…only to see those same doctors return, sit or stand at bedside and say, we thought you or love one was gone in amazement at least five times in my life. I believe what I know God has done for me in making the body heal itself. There are some issues He has not healed but gives me the strength, but I still believe and trust! Now, back to the story with this lead in.

God impressed on me what is that going to do to help employee by telling family members and FB. So, turn around and tell the manager, Jeff!

I said, “I just went through your drive window, and your employee was very nice.” Manager said, “yes that’s B and he is very nice, but you can tell him.” Before she left to call B, I said, “if I still had my restaurant and food trailer, I WOULD take him from you right now by offering $2 to $5 more than what you paying B.”

I told B and the young man was very happy to get pulled away from duty to hear positive words. He was very happy to hear and see his blessings. You have to read between the lines on last statement.

Listen careful and go bless somebody today! If you looking for a customer friendly employee and groom into a GM, go find B and take away from Ronald! Now, time to go post this on MD’s website to reach the owner and corporate to mentor this young man!

Have a great weekend!

One of our faithful customer call and gave me a turkey! Only two in our home, so we going to smoked the turkey, collard greens, green beans, rolls, and make wood fire dressing and bless their homes and a few more!

Slowly going through pack and getting rid of stuff. I can across these and many others.

I will never ever forget the shame on why I started dressing clean and sharp. In Sterlington back in the day our school was straight with one curve hallway. High school was 7th through 12th grade. We in 7th grade and taking classes with seniors.

See we grew up poorer than poor and no lie. See a family gave us their hand me down close. I wore a pair of pants the next day to school during my freshman year. Right before our first class, the kid who donated the clothes yelled out, “look everyone, Jeff is wearing my pants I gave him yesterday.” The whole hallway was laughing and point at me saying he has on ____’s pants. I had to hear this all day in school, lunch, recess, and in every class.

From that day on, I said, I will never wear hand me down clothes again and went to work cleaning stores, cutting yards, and working in beans, cotton, and pecan fields. I did whatever it took except anything illegal to earn my clothes money, since we were so poorer than poor.

My classmates voted me the mostly likely to succeed and the best dressers. See how bright I was and the dark me down from working in those fields.

I have so many encouraging story I could share with youth growing up poorer than. Youth, you can make it without all the drama and trouble. Not looking for sympathy here but sharing a memory that might help a youth that growing up poorer than poor. God been good to me!

The food on catering pan was delicious! We had to make some today with the wings, quarters, and will add purple rice top with garlic sauce for our lunch today!
