Sunday Afternoon Dance Club Music Box ... 1940s ... Tom Buckley ... Found this among my mom’s photos. She wrote, “On Sunday afternoon we met at the Music Box downtown for dancing. I wasn’t the best dancer, but had fun trying the jitterbug. After the dance would drive to a restaurant for food and fun.” My mom, Penny Carlentine (at the time), is on the left. Photo probably taken in mid-40s.
