And now we come to the 3rd and final event of our 3 day Memorial Day weekend and the reason why this one made me cry. This amazing couple - Halle Pittman and Peter Hansen, got married and had their reception on Sunday May 26th, 2024.
This couple lived states away, so the majority of the planning process was all done over a series of phone calls, texts, video chats, and emails. With out-of-state planning, I understood how that can cause anxiety and stress, so I tried to be there for this couple (and their moms) whenever they needed me. This resulted in a friendship being formed and thus, when this couple said "I do" I had tears! I had tears when I hugged the bride, I had tears when I hugged the moms and I had tears when I hugged grandma!
At the end of this beautiful weekend filled with amazing couples that I am blessed to have met, I went home, put my feet up and yes....I had that margarita I had been craving since Saturday!

The Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and wedding number 2 was this adorable couple! Melaina Kroft and Dustin Dozler May 25th 2024. This wedding had it all, from a hilarious and fun bridal party, to Tacos for dinner (cause WHO doesn't LOVE tacos??!!) and a dance floor that rocked it all night long! While Saturday had me wishing for a margarita and wanting to dance (ps.. I don't dance, but I do love a good margarita!) we had one more wedding to go! Wait until you hear why Sundays couple had me crying!

Memorial Day Weekend brought 3 in a row! The first amazing couple was Allison Broekemeier and Ryan Pritchard on May 24th, 2024.
I love when couples mix it up with longs and rounds in the floor plan! Lots of candles with greenery and beautiful white florals kissed with a touch of color. But what shinned more then their elegant décor was the smile this couple had all night long! It warmed the room and was contagious! You couldn't look at them and not smile!
