3 Important Things To Run Through At Your Rehearsal Practice - Part 2!

1. Giving Away Of The Bride

Practice
- How you will transition from the aisle to the altar.
- Your groom giving a hug or handshake to the person walking you down the aisle before escorting you to the altar.
- Who and how your immediate family member or family members will respond to "Who gives this bride away".

As simple as it is, you'll definitely want to practice these transitions. Otherwise, you risk an awkward transition. And this applies, even if your officiant is using different verbiage than, "Who Gives This Bride Away".

2. The Exchange Of Rings

Practice
- The person with the rings passing them off to the officiant. [I recommend the Best Man having both rings right before the Ceremony]
- Placing your wedding bands on each others fingers.

You'd be surprised how easy it is to forget what finger to place the ring on during the Ceremony.

3. The Pronouncement

Practice
- How you will be pronounced as Husband and Wife.
- Having your Officiant step out of the way for The Kiss.
- What will be said after the Kiss when you as a couple are pronounced with your new last name.

Don't make the mistake of having your officiant in the background of your "First Kiss" photos.

I’m so excited for our November open house!

Such a great time celebrating with the newlyweds Nick & Bailey Makowski. It was a beautiful event with such heartfelt love with family and friends. Had a great time playing a few songs we haven’t attempted for awhile that might just make future lists. John was lucky to get a last minute pic before they fled the scene. Nick and Bailey, we wish you both an amazing and blessed lifetime of joy together.
