I was lucky enough to have my boys and Mimi join me for my last service before maternity leave with baby sister! 💝🤰🏽 I’ll be honest, my organ shoes barely fit this morning 🫣🤪but it sure felt good to blare that organ one more time! ☺️ Hearing “Good Job, Mama” and seeing the biggest smiles from the pews made my heart melt. 🥰

Trey REALLY wanted to play the organ on Christmas Eve so we came back and they got to play the keys (and press all the buttons) after PJ day at daycare on Friday! Happy New Year! ✨

✨Reflective, working mama of two, post✨

Some days I think, am I playing too many services? Should I cut back even more? I woke up this morning thinking this as I fed my (almost) one year old before I left to go play for church. With a full time career, playing for two churches, and my young family, I’m just trying to balance it all. Mom guilt is real but today, I realized I play music so that I can be a better mom. The feeling I get after playing is unlike any other and I just hope that I can help my boys find their passion like this in their own lives someday! Shoutout to the sweet lady that approached me after sitting to listen to my entire postlude after the service. With tears in her eyes, she approached me telling me how much God has truly gifted me. I will never forget my Grandpa Muhle repeatedly telling my 13 year old self to “never give that up” referring to my music. Don’t worry Grandpa, I won’t! ☺️

Special shoutout to my husband who got our boys ready so that we could attend our church as a family later this morning! Not all days do I feel this strongly blessed (honestly, most days are hard) but I wanted to share to remind myself on a hard day. ♥️
