The Onaway Area Historical Museum's Dancing Hippopotomus Arts & Crafts Festival-also known as - The "Dancing Hippo" is one of the most unique Arts & Crafts festival you will find in Michigan! Visitors will not believe their eyes as they step back in time to an earlier era of craft festivals. Arts and crafts on display will surprise the festival goer as they will see work in many different media &

traditions from folk to contemporary. Come and enjoy the celebration as we continue the tradition started so many

The Dancing Hippo will be here before you know! Come check out all the vendors. Many of your favorites will be back as well as several new vendors. It all happens on July 4th & 5th, 10-4 each day, located on the lawn and inside the historic Onaway Courthouse. The Onaway Area Historical Museum will be open during this event, along with more vendors inside the Courthouse. See you there!
