During the daytime, White Clover Farm has some breathtaking views. However, we have received some amazing pictures that were taken during sunset and even at night! The lights on the barns, or the golden glow of a sunset make a beautiful backdrop for any pictures! On our windmill here at the Farm, we have Trumpet Vines growing and they are close to reaching the top! They should reach their maximum height of almost 40 feet in a few years at this rate! Trumpet Vines have a strong climbing capability and overtake almost anything around them, which is why we have them on their own where they can flourish! Just like most of our other flowers here, Trumpet Vines attract hummingbirds and other nectar loving insects. These bloom in late spring throughout summer, but the vines stay a beautiful green throughout late fall!

Did you know the color of the flower petals on a Bearded Iris differ depending on the direction they are growing for a reason? The purpose of this is to attract insects and birds, specifically hummingbirds, to gather its nectar! The Bearded Iris symbolizes faith, wisdom, hope and trust. Bearded Iris bloom at their own pace, and on their own time. Some bloom in early spring while others bloom in mid-summer; the ones that bloom early can also bloom in late summer through early fall so you are able to enjoy their beauty more than once! We have shared a sneak peak into the bridal suite, so we thought it was time to share the groom’s suite! Furnished with comfortable chairs and a couch, along with a bar top and whiskey glasses, the groom and groomsmen will be excited to spend the morning getting ready here! Our Wisteria blooming may be close to over for the flowering season, but the vines always look beautiful regardless! Wisteria blooms from mid spring through early summer and is one of the easiest flowers on the Farm to take care of; they basically take care of themselves! Our wisteria makes a beautiful backdrop for your photographer because they can grow up to 39 feet tall with the right environment. Chinese wisteria represents fertility, long life and devotion, all amazing things we wish you on your special day! It’s officially sunflower season! While we may not have any sunflowers here on the Farm, they make beautiful decorations! It isn’t very often we get to have a small wedding here at the Farm, and they are always so beautiful! The Silver Maple holds up to 80 guests comfortably and always amazes us with its beauty! We can host graduation parties, bridal showers, company events and so much more on Sundays in the Silver Maple! Can you believe that our peonies have been on the Farm for over 30 years? Every year they bloom bigger and brighter than the last! While our yellow and white peonies only come around in spring, their fragrance and heartiness are unbeatable. Peonies symbolize beauty, honor and good fortune; all wonderful things we wish for your event here at White Clover Farm!
This past weekend we had the opportunity to celebrate with a bridal shower here at White Clover Farm! On Sundays we are able to host bridal showers, graduation parties, and more! It was catered by CCC Catering, which is always a great option with their professionalism and delicious food choices. Even with a little rain, everything turned out beautifully with a very happy bride in the end! Look at these beautiful lilac bushes! They frame two corners of the chess board here at White Clover farm and have a wonderful fragrance! The flowers have a sweet scent so you can find hummingbirds and butterflies in the gardens. While the flower itself stays pretty small, the bushes can grow up to 20 feet in height with the right circumstances! These only bloom in late spring and early summer so contact us soon to get on the books for the Spring of 2024 or 2025!

Did you know each rose color has a different meaning? Our pink climbing roses symbolize gratitude, elegance, and sweetness! They are currently in full bloom here at White Clover Farm and will continue blooming until late summer! With their beautiful look and scent, they are the perfect accent to one of the chessboard entrances. Ann is the owner of White Clover Farm and your go to contact for everything from tours to day of coordinating if needed. When she isn’t working at White Clover Farm events, she is a project manager by heart and an avid gardener! If you can’t ever find her, just look in her gardens! Some helpful tips and tricks to get you through those last minute “oh no, I forgot!” and to help your special day run smoothly!
1. Eat breakfast!
This is so important because everyone can begin to get grumpy and feel a little light headed when there isn’t any food in your system. Even a light breakfast will be better than nothing!
2. Make a list of “must haves” for your photographer.
Nothing is worse than going through your pictures afterwards and realizing you forgot some that you really wanted in the hustle and bustle of the day. Even if photos take a little longer than anticipated, that is okay! Your guests will understand that you want this day to be documented with pictures to cherish forever. Don’t be afraid to actually write down a list for your photographer and sit down with them a few days before to go over everything!
3. Take some alone time if/when you need it.
When it comes to your special day, it is all about you! That can be very overwhelming for some people. Don’t be afraid to take 5-10 minutes to just breathe and enjoy the moment!
4. Emergency Kit!
We have all been there when there is a dress falter, you run out of hairspray, or you chip a nail! Bring your emergency kit to have all that you may need to cover any issues! You will find a complete list of what we recommend you have on hand for those small emergencies in the photos above!
5. HAVE FUN!
We’ve saved the best for last, have fun! This is your special day, the day you put so much time and energy into planning! If an issue arises, let the bridal party, close family, or White Clover Farm staff handle it for you! Everyone is there to make sure your day runs smoothly for you so that you are able to relax and enjoy. This is your special moment/day for you to cherish forever!
It's Scenery Sunday! This week we are featuring the Silver Maple. It holds up to 100 guests while also housing the bridal suites. This quaint, beautiful barn is perfect for graduation parties, corporate events, family reunions, memorials, bridal/baby showers and even small wedding celebrations! The possibilities are endless in the Silver Maple and we can set it up to best serve your needs on your special day. More often than not, on tours we have people ask about our many flowers! So we thought that we could share a little about each one. This week we are looking at the Clematis. At White Clover Farm you can find the vines climbing the arbors that lead from the parking lot to the Courtyard! They help lead the way to your event with their beautiful color and wonderful fragrance! Clematis are usually in bloom late spring, early summer and continue blooming throughout the summer months. They are known to attract butterflies and hummingbirds, while being able to tolerate deer and rabbits trying to get a taste of them. We thought it was time to introduce the White Clover Farm family! Who better to start with than...Roo! He is usually the first to greet you when you reach White Clover Farm. He is full of love and s***k! Roo really knows how to be the main attraction, but also knows when it's the brides time to shine! When Roo isn't working as crowd control he loves to play with birds and chipmunks...even if that means taking apart the downspouts once in a while (he thinks he's really good with the redecorating.) Roo cannot wait to meet you and help make your event extra special!💖
