Practice run for upcoming event….Pennsylvania Dutch Apple Pie. In my opinion it needed vanilla bean ice cream and candied walnuts so I did just that. 🤪🍬

I could not decide how to frost this practice espresso chococake cake 🎂 for an upcoming event The choice was tough between chocolate espresso ganache and a Kahlua glaze. So I took the King Solomon biblical approach and cut cake in half to try it frosted each way. And actually the ideal result ended up with using both the frosting and the glaze… Final result unpictured but consumed by me 🤣and very delicious!

Dèsirèe Branam and I catered a 90th birthday party brunch today. That is such an honor and such an unusual age to attain. They were the sweetest couple and the nicest family! We were so busy talking we did not get very many photos.😳 Jeffrey Martinez thank you for the pimento cheese grits casserole… It was highly popular.

We had fun catering the other day for a nice CPA firm in Cleveland. Thanks Dèsirèe Branam for the beef and the holiday ham. Smith made decadent chocolates pies. And Jeffrey Martinez made peanut butter cake with the most amazing peanut butter icing. Thanks Pam Thompson for setting up the buffet line.

Having flatbread made at a cottage bakery homemade for a large Mediterranean catering job. It has all the ideal characteristics… Soft fluffy, but very brown!

Luau Santa catering for 60 people. Another one for the history books. So much fun! 🍍🎅🥥🌴

Crème brûlée with my new torch toy. This is my first batch of creamy, dreamy delights …so certain this won’t be my last batch. 🍽️

This first photo is when we were a quarter of the way through making 500 treat boxes. I don’t want to fold boxes for a while I must say! But it was nice to collapse in the “fireside“ room afterwards.
