It takes an army of selfless people to put these races on and stay focused on the athletes and their goals. We’ve got the best team in the business with literally hundreds of races under our belts - there’s not much that can be thrown at us that we’re not ready for.

(John Wall) has been a part of these races for over 20 years, he’s finished a double, volunteered countless of hours and has been one of the master minds behind many improvements made to the races year after year.

He works his ass off and doesn’t ask for anything in return. Thank you John for your dedication to this sport and love for those who compete in it. 👊🏽

Only 2 weeks before the Virginia ANVIL, .garrison completed the 1x10 DECA Aquavelo in Wisconsin. That’s a 24 mile swim and 1,120 mile bike… then 2 weeks later he completed the triple Aquavelo (7.2 mile swim and 336 mile bike) in the time cutoff of the Double Aquavelo. This is absolutely incredible and his motive behind doing this is something I’ll let him share.

Your inspiring us all Damian. Thank you for letting us be a small part of your story and for reminding us that limits we set in our heads can be broken if we just remember who we are.

Let me introduce you to Russel Fleming. “I didn’t think I could do this” he said as he finished his first ever 140.6. If you ever feel discouraged, look at the pure joy in this man’s face. You can do this.

Surround yourself with people who support you and stand by your side through the good and the bad. The story of this guy and his team is enough to bring you to tears. Athletes supporting athletes. It’s a beautiful thing. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your journey. See you next time brother.

Nathan Borozinski, after 20 years came back to triathlon and completed his half distance this weekend at the Virginia ANVIL Ultra Triathlon.

He and his family are the definition of MAMMOTH and these races. So much love for their dad as he raced and so much support for everyone else racing and working the event. Congratulations Nate on your finish - can’t wait to see ya at the next one!
