I have been ALL-IN regarding my business, but God has another plan for me, and I am all out. My dream was to someday own a unique venue. That dream started many years ago with baby steps and steppingstones, struggles and pivots, successes and failures, hardships and victories, true grit and so much more.

My dream wasn't just to build a business and watch and be a part of the most special and cherished memories, it was a dream to help build the community that I love. My dream did that and more. First investing in downtown Opelika 21 years ago when renovating buildings creating an office for my first business and an incredible loft apartment.

Then 18 years ago the recreation of the 1938 former Coca-Cola bottling plant started. It was during a time when downtown Opelika was mostly abandoned, and the country was in a recession. But relentless is in my blood to push forward with the vision. Our little downtown is continuing to thrive, and I am proud to have been a part of it. Fast forward many years later and my dream became a reality.

Today changes the trajectory for my life with the sale of The Bottling Plant business and property. Behind the scenes for TEN months, the new owners have been observing during events, working events and their staff merging with my team.

I have known the new owners for several years and am truly excited not just for them but for the plans they have to expand The Bottling Plant offering even more for our community to enjoy.

Both my staff and I will continue to help the new owners. My plan is to continue to recover from the previous very difficult few years from caring for my mother in her last year of life backed with my son’s near fatal accident and recovery.

I feel spiritually called to continue to focus on completing my 2nd memoir. All I have ever really wanted is to help others. I have accomplished so much in my life and plan to share the journey! God has a plan. I truly believe that!

From the depths of my heart, I thank you for the love and support throughout the years and especially for the prayers for my son's survival and recovery. Love and Hugs to all.

Sincerely,
Lisa Ditchkoff
