Welcome Our New Bloom: Campanula!
Also known as Canterbury Bells, these charming flowers have just made their debut in the garden. The first to arrive are the crisp whites, with soft pinks coming soon. We can’t wait to see them brightening up your vases and special arrangements! Aren’t these perfect for a wedding, bridal or baby shower?? How would you use them?

Farmers!! There is NO CHARGE for you to sell your fruits and veggies at the farmers market. Join those of us who were out there every week last year. People were always looking for fruits and veggies. This could be amazing but we need vendors. I’m in my second year living in Opp, and I’m proud of this community and want to be part of the solution to supporting local vendors and our economy. Please let’s make this a success!

A new flower blooming at Petaluma Gardens for summer…..This is ageratum!! We will have it all summer! You’ll soon see it showing up in your wraps and bouquets. It’s a beautiful filler flower that adds a lovely pop of purple! It needs a couple more weeks to gain good length on its stems! What do you think of it?

Tomorrow is Administrative Professionals Day! I know I said I couldn’t fill any more orders this week because my field was in a lull. Well it’s not. Haha. I don’t know why I underestimate what’s blooming. If you need flowers tomorrow for your administrative Assistant, let me know asap! I harvested hundreds of sunflowers today!

Why Local, Raw, Unfiltered Honey is the Sweetest Choice – Naturally and Nutritionally!

Petaluma Gardens honey will be available soon, and we wanted to share a few reasons why it’s not just any honey—it’s local, raw, unfiltered, and truly something special.

What makes it better?
Our honey is harvested right here in South Alabama, never heated or filtered, so it retains all the good stuff nature intended—enzymes, antioxidants, trace minerals, and bits of local pollen. It’s as close as you can get to honey straight from the hive.

The flavor? Unmatched.
Our bees spend their days gathering nectar from wild blackberry brambles and the flowers growing right here at Petaluma Gardens. That gives the honey a rich, floral, slightly fruity flavor that’s unique to this land. It’s bold, complex, and never one-note like the commercial stuff.

Better for allergies.
Because our honey contains tiny amounts of local pollen, many people believe it can help build up a natural tolerance to seasonal allergies. It’s a sweet little way to support your immune system—one spoonful at a time.

Packed with natural nutrition.
Unlike processed honey, our raw version still contains beneficial enzymes, vitamins, and minerals. It’s more than a sweetener—it’s nourishment straight from nature.

We’re proud to offer a product that’s made right here by our bees in our garden—and we can’t wait for you to taste the difference.

Stay tuned for the first Petaluma Gardens honey release. Quantities will be limited, and trust us—it’ll go

Since we are selling a lot of wraps this year, I wanted to share how to care for your cut flowers. If you follow these steps, your flowers should last you 7-10 days, and often 2 weeks. I have not ever gotten any complaints but if you follow these steps and do not get a good vase life or are dissatisfied in any way, you call me!! I have a field full of flowers. I will make it right. I value each of you and your support. I will always take care of you! 💐💐💐

The flower cart is open today at Petaluma Gardens! We’ve got $20 wraps ready to brighten your weekend. I had a few extra stems left over, so with each wrap purchase, you’re welcome to pick four additional stems to make it your own.

I also took some time to decorate the farm stand—if you’re looking for a sweet spot to snap a few Easter pictures with your kids, it’s there for you. And of course, you’re welcome to take photos in front of the flower cart while the blooms last.

Thank you all so much for your continued support. It truly means the world to me. It brings me so much joy to share the beauty of flowers with this community, and I’m grateful every day that I get to do this.

Exciting news! Petaluma Gardens has been invited to provide the flowers and décor for the annual Farm to Table event hosted by Sweet Grown Alabama on June 5th at the gorgeous Dalrymple Farms in Enterprise, Alabama.

Ellie, Aisling, and I spent the afternoon with Kim Dalrymple touring the venue for Field to Table, and I couldn’t be more excited. Dalrymple Farms is such a warm, welcoming, and gorgeous place—I feel so lucky to be part of something this special.
